Caregiver
A caregiver ‘s main role is to provide basic care to residents, as well as assist them in daily activities they might have trouble with on their own, such as bathing, toileting, ambulation, daily cares, redirection, etc. Because of the personal nature of the job, caregiver’s should be compassionate and enjoy helping others. Prior experience and training is recommended, but is not required.
Facility
Manager
Facility Management is a leadership position with a high degree of responsibility in the area of administration. The role of the Facility Manager is to reasonably meet the needs of all Ivy Manor guests and customers. Additionally, they will need to be proficient in staff management techniques related to hiring, training and guiding staff under their supervision.
Housekeeping / Custodian
Housekeepers are responsible for making sure all assigned areas of the home are clean, neat, and tidy. This includes any indoor household cleaning and organizing tasks assigned by the Ivy Manor Building Managers and may regularly include cleaning "projects" (e.g., cleaning and organizing a messy closet). Typical responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, mopping, scrubbing bathrooms and changing/laundering linen.
Activity Aid
Activity Aids plan, organize, and direct or carry out a program of activities, which will provide entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, relaxation, opportunity to express creative talent, and fulfill basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs for our residents. Activity Aids will be available to all residents.
